Kamal Hassan is all happy and excited to present a glimpse of his magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam'. The versatile actor will first unveil the Hindi version 'Vishwaroop' at the IIFA Awards on June 8 where he will be showcasing some excerpts from his film. The actor has come up with a 15 minutes compilation for the curtain raiser featuring some mind blowing scenes. IIFA being a global platform to reach audiences across International territories, the actor is eager to promote his dream project at the Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore. 

The legendary actor will present a similar showcase of excerpts from Vishwaroopam at the Vijay Awards function to be held on June 16. Vishwaroopam features Kamal, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jermiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekar Kapur in pivotal roles. Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Billa on June 22

Fans have been eagerly awaiting to catch up with one of the most anticipated film of 'Thala'. The wait is almost over as Billa 2 will hit the screens on June 22. The prequel to the blockbuster Billa which traces the journey of David Billa from an ordinary man to a dreaded underworld don has stirred in a lot of expectations among the audience.

The action packed film is getting ready to be screened to the Censor Board next week which is likely to be on June 11. Director Chakri Toleti and Yuvan are both busy completing the post production work of the film. Once the film clears the Censor Board, the promotional activities will begin in full swing.

Saguni on July 6

Karthi's 'Saguni' which was to release in June has been pushed further to July 6. With Billa 2 releasing on June 22, the producers of Saguni have decided to release the film two weeks later. The audio of the film was released recently on June 2. Directed by Shankar Dayal, the film stars Karthi, Praneetha, Santhanam in lead roles. Music by G.V. Prakash.

Prakash Raj and Aamir Khan to team up?

Prakash Raj is buzzed to turn the director again for the Hindi remake of his critically acclaimed Abhiyum Naanum, which revolved around the tender relationship between a father and his daughter. The ace actor who is keen in remaking his film in Bollywood wants to rope in Aamir to play the role essayed by him in Tamil. The film had Prakash Raj, Trisha and Aishwariya playing the lead roles and was directed by Radha Mohan. 

Prakash Raj who produced the film in Tamil will be directing the Hindi version while the film is to be produced by Boney Kapoor. Aamir is said to have been interested in the script but is yet to give a final nod.

Vijay's film faces hiccups

The remake of the yesteryear blockbuster 'Sattam Oru Irutarai' is being produced by Vijay's 'Ghilli Films' starring Vikram Prabhu, Karthika and Reema Sen in lead roles. The film has completed a schedule in Pondicherry and seemed to have run into trouble now. The lead actor Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu, who made is debut in Prabhu Solomon's Kumki is said to have opted out of the film. The reason being the actors' debut film is yet to hit the screens and director Prabhu Solomon had wanted to re-shoot some portions of the film with him.

Vikram Prabhu who has to sport a differnt look for Kumki had to opt out as he will be able to join the 'Sattam Oru Irutarai' team in October. The film is directed by newbie Sneha under the supervision of S.A. Chandrasekhar. News doing the rounds that the film may be shelved, director SAC has clarified that the makers are in the lookout for a new face for the lead role and the film shooting will resume as planned.

Tanvi Vyas, the fashion diva, who was crowned Miss India in 2008 has made her debut in Kollywood in a film titled 'Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai'. The film is directed by PV Prasad of 'Kadhalil Vizhunthein' fame. Vishva debuts as hero while Irrfan of Pattalam fame is playing the second lead. The audio of the film was recently launched and the music has been scored by A.J. Daniel. The director is said to have penned the lyrics for all the songs.
