Priyamani who has been missing from Kollywood for quite sometime is all set to comeback with a remake of a popular Thai film 'Alone' which was released in 2007. The national award winning actress has been roped to play the lead in the film titled as 'Charulatha'. The film is a horror flick which revolves around twin sisters.

Priyamani plays a double role and the film is to be remade in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The film will be directed by Pon Kumaran and produced by Global One Studios. The final schedule of the film is currently being shot at Bangalore. Audio will be released in June and the film is expected to hit the screens in July.

STR does it for Nakul

STR who is known to croon his voice for other heroes is said to have sung a song in Nakul's upcoming film 'Vallinam'. The film is touted to be a campus entertainer and Nakul acts as a basketball player. Newbie Mrudhula Basker plays the female lead. 

The film is directed by Arivazhagan of 'Eeram' fame and music is scored by Thaman. Thaman had earlier worked with the director for Eeram. The duo had approached STR to sing the opening song of the film which is based on basket ball. The actor had readily agreed and crooned his voice as well. The film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Poornima Bhagyaraj back to Big Screen!

Poornima Bhagyaraj, yesteryear actress is set to make a comeback into the Big Screen with Suseendhran's next film 'Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer'. The actress who made an entry into films in 1980 had acted in about 70 films. She had quit acting in films after she got married to Bhagyaraj in 1984. The actor is donning the greasepaint after almost 28 years for a pivot role. 

The film has a new face as hero and Manisha Yadav of 'Vazhukku En 18/9' fame plays the female lead. Yuvan is joining hands with the director for the third time after 'Naan Mahan Alla' and 'Rajapattai'. The film is produced by Nallu Studios.

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu - First Look Trailer

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is an upcoming Telugu film starring Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Samantha and Anjali, written and directed by Srikanth Addala. The film is produced by Dil Raju. The film is slated for a release in September.
