Tamasha Trailer Review – Sizzling chemistry and the reel vs real plot promises a lot of Tamasha!

The much-awaited trailer for Tamasha is out and it stars the stunning DeepikaPadukone and Ranbir Kapoor and is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The trailer looks gorgeous and is sure treat for their fans, however it gives kinda same feel which we have seen in the recent modern age love stories for example in Ayan Mukherjee’s YehJawani Hai Deewani, HomyAdjania’s Cocktail and some of Imtiaz’s past works. But again, it is Imtiaz Ali we are talking about who is a master when it comes to modern age romance and he never fails to amuse us.
The trailer introduces us to VedSahni (Ranbir Kapoor), who considers himself a hero who is part of the perfect corporate life almost like every engineer in India but he seems unhappy about it and wants some excitement in his life which he finds when he meets the beautiful Tara (DeepikaPadukone) in Corsica, France and they decide to hide their true identity and not share a single truth with each other, just for greater fun. But Tara falls in love with the fun-loving, dramatic Ved who is very different in real life and things start to mess up.
The highlight of the trailer is the sizzling chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika and the dazzling locales witnessed. Even the confusion of reel and real established by Imtiaz promises something exclusive that this love story holds for the audience. We also see some glimpse of live ‘Tamasha’ i.e. stage dramas as a part of the trailer which makes us more curious about the film. A R Rahman handles the music department and going by the trailer, one should expect a scintillating soundtrack from him once again.
The film releases on 27th of November which is almost two months away. Till then, I am sure a lot of good song promos will build-up the buzz even higher.
