Nithin Sathya
Mayanginen Thayanginen starring Nithin Sathya and Disha Pandey which is set to release this Friday got 'U' certificate, however after 100 cuts. The makers were keen on getting a 'U' certificate to avail tax exemption and the Censor Board insisted on a phenomenal 100 cuts to be effected in the film before issuing it. The film is directed by Vendhan.

Ajith's film to roll from June 2!!
Ajith is all ready to begin his next untitled film with Vishnuvaradhan. The film shooting which was to begin today is set to roll from June 2 at Mumbai. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara and Taapsee Pannu. The latest to join the cast is Mahesh Manjrekhar who will play the villain in the movie.
The first schedule of the film has been planned for 20 days and portions solely involving Ajith is to be shot initially. Nayanthara is buzzed to join the shoot at a later stage while Arya and Taapsee might join the team in the next schedule. Yuvan scores the music and the film is produced by A.M. Ratnam.
Simbu at Settai Shooting Spot
Simbu who is shooting for Vettaimannan had paid a surprise visit to the Settai sets along with VTV Ganesh. Eariler it was Surya who had walked into the Sets of Settai. The actor had spent sometime with the team.
Settai next schedule begins June 8
The first schedule of Settai has been wrapped after a 20 days shoot at Binny Mills. The shooting has been progressing rapidly and the entire team of Settai is happy about the way the film is shaping up. Arya, Santhanam, Premgi, Hansika and Anjali play lead roles. The next schedule will commence from June 8 for another 20 days. The film is expected to be wrapped in 2 more schedules.
The action sequence choreographed by stunt master Silva is buzzed to be one of the highlights of the film as it been captured differently. The film is directed by Kannan, music by Thaman and produced by UTV.
Agni Natchatram begins
Mani Ratnam's yesteryear blockbuster film Agni Natchatram starring Karthik and Prabhu is to be remade again. The remake rights of the film has been acquired by Ramesh who is currently producing Vishal's 'Samar'. The producer is thrilled to remake this action entertainer in Tamil and Telugu. The cast and crew of the film is to be finalized to kickstart the project soon.
Dhanush signs Sargunam's film
Dhanush who is currently shooting for Mariyaan directed by Bharath Bala has signed a new film with director Sargunam of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame. The film will also be a romantic comedy set in the village background. The cast and crew of the film is yet to be finalised. The film has been titled 'Sotta Vazhakutty'.
'Ferrari Ki Sawari' trailer
'Ferrari Ki Sawari' starring Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani is about small guys and their big dreams. Its a comedy family drama with a heart-warming tale of unconditional love between a father, played by Sharman Joshi, and his son and is about the young boy's dream to play cricket at the Lords stadium. Film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.The film is slated to release on June 15.
