Aravind Swami and Prithviraj to be part of Ajith's next?

Ajith's next film with Vishnuvaradhan is all ready to start by the end of this month. The film that already boasts a stellar cast including Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee is getting bigger by the day. The latest to join the flick would be Aravind Swami and Prithviraj.

Aravind Swami who has donned the grease paint after almost a decade in Mani Ratnam's film 'Kadal' has been approached for a role. Popular Malayalm actor Prithiviraj has also been offered a key role. According to sources, both the actors have been approached for important roles and nothing has been finalised yet. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Kamal Haasan who was busy with the post production and CG work of Vishwaroopam in U.S has returned to Chennai. Kamal Haasan had met veteran director R.C. Shakthi and had shown him stills of his magnum opus film 'Vishwaroopam'. 

Santhanam joins Thandavam shooting

Santhanam who has been busily shooting for Settai has completed his portions in the first schedule much ahead of the schedule. Settai remake of 'Delhi Belly' has Arya, Santhanam, Premgi, Hansik, Anjali and Nasser in lead roles. Santhanam will be joining the sets of Thandavam next. The comedian who is part of many projects in Kollywood is busy shuttling between projects. Thandavam shooting is currently happening in London with Vikram, Amy Jackson, Jagapathy Babu. The film is directed by A.L. Vijay and music by G.V. Prakash.

Naan E release postponed

The socio fantasy entertainer film Naan Ee (Eega in Telugu) starring Samantha, Nani and Sudeep which is to hit the screens this month has been postponed. The director of the film S.S. Rajamouli has cited the reasons for delay as the CG work involved in the film. He had tweeted, "We underestimated the amount of time for CG. I am extremely happy with the quality of CG for the shots we received so far. I want to ensure the same quality is maintained for the rest. Everyone is workin 24/7 to get the film out ASAP." 

Singer Karthik to compose for Gautham's film

Singer Karthik who turned composer for 'Aravaan' will be composing music for Gautham Menon's next production venture. Jai, Abhinaya and Santhanam will play lead roles while debutant Prem Sai who had earlier assisted Prabhudeva will weild the megaphone. Karthik is said to have started working on the music of this romantic entertainer.

Jayam Ravi turns 'Boxer'

Jayam Ravi has wrapped up the shooting of Aadhi Bhagavan directed by Ameer and is gearing up for his next film 'Boologam' which is set to go on floors shortly. The actor will play a boxer and is working hard to buff up for the role. Ravi had tweeted, "Been busy with boxing lessons! It's a great experience. Enjoying every bit of it. Looking forward to filming Boologam end of month. Getting beefed up for the character." Trisha pairs opposite Jayam Ravi and the film is directed by Kalyana Krishnan and produced by Aascar films.
