Karthi who has wrapped with Saguni is currently shooting for Alex Pandian. The film starring Karthi, Anushkha, Santhanam, Nikitha directed by Suraj is shaping up well. An action sequence is to be shot from today. Ganesh Kumar is the stunt master of 'Alex Pandian'. The film is touted to have some high voltage action scenes. Milind Soman and Suman play the baddies. 

Music has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad. DSP is said to have composed all the tracks for the film. The film is produced by Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green.

Samudrakani in Neer Paravai

Samudrakani has been roped in for a pivotal role in Red Giant Movies 'Neer Paravai' directed by Seenu Ramasamy of 'Thenmerku Paruvakatru' fame. The film, which is set in the backdrop of fishermen in southern Tamil Nadu, has Vishnu of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' fame and Sunaina in lead roles. Nandita Das of 'Azhagi' fame is playing a role of a fisher woman. Nandita is back to Kollywood after almost a decade. 

Vishnuvaradhan on Loction Hunt

Ajith's next film with director Vishnuvaradhan is all set to roll on the 31st of this month in Mumbai. The untitled film has a star cast of Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee. Aswin who played a cop in Mankatha has been roped in the film. The director is in the lookout for a suitable tiltle for the film. Currently he is is on the hunt for suitable locations for the movie. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Sri Rama Rajyam from today

Sri Rama Rajyam is a Telugu mythological film which was released in 2011 has been dubbed in Tamil and is releasing today. The film depicts Lord Rama's rule of Ayodhya after he returns home from Lanka, his separation from Sita and her reclusive life in the forest as she raises their children Lava and Kusa. Nandamuri Balakrishna as Lord Rama and Nayantara as Seetha play the lead roles. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth and Sai Kumar appear in supporting roles. Music of the film is composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
