Sarath Kumar in Thalaivan not Thuppakki

Sarath Kumar in Thalaivan not Thuppakki

The latest buzz surrounding Thuppakki was the addition of Sarath Kumar to play a prominent role in the film. Director of the film A.R. Murugadoss has clarified that Sarath Kumar is not part of Thuppakki trashing rumours. Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead has shaped up well and is expected to be wrapped up soon. Few songs and scenes are to be shot yet. The film is buzzed to hit the screens in August. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Sarath Kumar however is said to have been roped in Vijay's next film with A.L. Vijay titled 'Thalaivan'. The actor who has been part of multi starrer films has been offered a prominent role and is set to join hands with Vijay for the first time. Sarath Kumar is currently playing an important role in Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan'. However an official confirmation is awaited.

Maranthen Mannithen is a bilingual flick made in Tamil and Telugu starring Aadhi and Tapsee in lead roles. Lakshmi Manchu the producer of the film plays an important role. The movie is about a real flood incident that took happened in the 1980's that killed many people. 

Recently the flood scene was shot with Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu on the river banks of Godavari in Chinchinada village. The unit was shooting the floods scenes with around 250 technicians and around 20-cameras set-up. When the water from the reservoir was released both Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu were dragged by the flood. The local fisherman however had pulled them out of the water and saved their lives. 

Superstar in Hong Kong

Superstar has left to Hong Kong for the third schedule of Kochadaiyaan. The major portions of the film have been completed in the first two schedules shot in London and Kerala. The shooting of the film is progressing rapidly. Soundarya and her team have landed in Hong Kong and the shooting is expected to begin soon. Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Nasser, Aadhi Rukmini Vijayakumar play pivotal roles. Music by A.R. Rahman.

G.V. Prakash for Siddharth's film

The shooting of Vetrimaran's untitled production venture starring Siddharth is happening in Bangalore. Siddharth plays the role of a college youth. One of the happening music directors ok Kollywood, G.V. Prakash will score the music for the film. Siddharth who is happy about G.V. Prakash scoring music for his film has tweeted, "I've been very fortunate when it comes to music in my films. Excited to be working with G.V.Prakash for the first time in Vetrimaran's production!". Film is directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Manikandan and Velraj handles the camera.

Daruvu (with a tag 'Sound of Mass') is a socio fantasy entertainer film starring Ravi Teja and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles. Daruvu is in tune with Raviteja's body language. Ravi Teja is playing a character with multiple shades. Comedy actor Brahmanandam is playing a key role in the movie.

Veteran actor Prabhu is playing the role of 'Lord Yama' in Daruvu. Film is directed by Siva and music has been scored by Vijay Anthony. Vijay Anthony has used his foot tapping Kuthu number 'Aathichudi' in Daruvu. The film will hit the screens on May 25.
