Amy Jackson joins Thandavam team!!!
Vikram's 'Thandavam' shooting is currently happening in London. It's going to be almost a month since the team left to London for the shoot. The shooting is happening in a brisk pace and one of the leading lady of the film Amy Jackson has joined the team in London.
Amy Jackson plays a completely different role where she will show off her action skills and is required to perform some action sequences. An excited Amy Jackson has tweeted, "Another day, another scene! THANDAVAM is looking FAB. You're going to LOVE it!!"
The film is a power packed action entertainer and major action stunts are to be filmed in London. The film stars Jagapathi Babu, Anuskha, Lakshmi Rai and Nasser in lead roles apart from Vikram and Amy Jackson. Lakshmi Rai is likely to join the shoot at the end of May. Film is directed by A.L. Vijay and the shooting is expected to be wrapped in June. Music by G.V. Prakash

Dhanush's 'Maariyaan' starts rolling!!
Dhanush has started off with the shooting of Mariyaan with director Bharath Bala of 'Vandemataram' fame. The actor who is currently holidaying with his family in Africa is simultaneously shooting for Mariyaan. The film is a bilingual shot in Tamil and Hindi. A.R. Rahman who scores the music for the film has composed 2 songs. These two songs and some action sequences are likely to be shot there.
Dhanush's other projects include his Bollywood debut film 'Ranjhana' opposite Sonam Kapoor and a film with Vetrimaran produced by Cloud Nine Movies. Dhanush is also producing a film with Siva Karthikeyan as lead directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Senthil. Dhanush is said to have written the script for the film as well.

Vishal not teaming up Saravanan?
Vishal who is on a roll with many projects up his sleeve has denied signing a film with director Saravanan of 'Engeyum Epothum' fame. Arya who was earlier roped in for the lead had opted out and Vishal was buzzed to do the role.The actor who had been narrated the story by the director has not given a final nod. Talks are on with Lingusamy who happens to be the producer of the film but nothing has been finalised so far. Vishal is currently shooting for Samar and also started the shoot of Madha Gaja Raja with Sundar C. He will later join with Lingusamy for 'Sandakozhi 2'.
Inda Vaan Veli - Arohanam
Arohanam is directed by Lakshmi Ramakrishnan who has played the mother role in many films. The character artist has made a debut as director through this film. The film traces the journey of a brother and sister who are in search of their missing mother. Sampath and Jayprakash play pivotal roles.
Tamil serial actress Viji Chandrashekar (sister of yesteryear actress Saritha) will be playing the crucial role as a mother. Lakshmi had released a single track 'Inda Vaan Veli' which is an ode to motherhood. Music by K of 'Yudham Sei' fame.
