Yohan begins from July

Vijay and Gautham Menon team up for the first time for 'Yohan'. Yohan is a high action spy thriller which is to be shot at International standards. The film is sure to take Vijay to the next level. Gautham has planned to spin off different series of Yohan similar to James Bond films once the character of Yohan gets established.

The first look poster of Yohan Adhyayam Ondru created a huge expectations among fans. Gautham who has completed the script for the film has tweeted, "Yohan will start his journey in July.". The film is produced by Gautham Menon's home production 'Photon Kathas' jointly with Eros International. Music by A.R. Rahman. The combo is ready to rock with their first mission that begins in New York.

The shooting of Settai is progressing well. Directed by Kannan the film stars Arya, Santhanam, Premgi Amaren, Nasser, Hansika and Anjali. The shooting is currently happening at Binny Mills. Film is set to hit the screens in January 2013. Music by Thaman.

Shriya debuts in Sandalwood!

Shirya Saran who had worked in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalm films is set to make a debut in a Kannada film titled Chandra to be directed by Roopa Iyer. The film will be a bilingual in Tamil and Kannada. Prem Kumar plays the lead and the film is based on the life of a last generation princess and her love story. Shreya has been offered a very prominent role in the film.

The actress had earlier done a cameo in a Kannada film 'Arasu'. Her recent flick in Bollywood didn't do well and the hot actress is desperately waiting for a break in the South. The film being a bilingual the actress is hopeful to gain an re-entry into Kollywood.

Anirudh's line of projects

The 'Kolaveri' fame music director has reportedly signed up for 4 projects. Anirudh has been buzzed to have bagged a Gautham Menon project which is likely to begin after Yohan. The young composer will be scoring the music for a Dhanush film to be directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Senthil. He is also part of 2 Bollywood flicks, one is Bejoy Nambiar's 'David' where Vikram plays the lead role and has signed a new project to be directed by Anurag Kashyap. Anirudh is a lot excited to be working with top people in the industry.

Eega Trailer 2

Eega is a bilingual film made in Telugu and Tamil (Naan Ee) directed by S.S. Rajamouli of 'Magadheera' fame. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep play the lead roles. The film is a revenge story where the hero who is killed by the villain is reborn as Ee(housefly) and takes revenge. The different plot has raised curiosity among the audience. Extensive visual effects have been used in the film. Eega will hit the screens on May 30.
