Director Santhakumar was highly appreciated for making a taut thriller in his debut film 'Mounaguru' which emerged as a silent winner. The director who was flooded with offers post the success of Mounaguru has signed a project with Studio Green. The director is next planning to come out with an action entertainer. He is currently working on the script which is in the verge of completion. Karthi and Jeeva are being considered for the lead and one of them may be signed soon. 

Karthi has wrapped up 'Saguni' and is awaiting its release. He is currently shooting for Alex Pandian and would join director Rajesh for 'All in All Azhagu Raja'. Also his name his being hinted for Venkat Prabu's next film with Studio Green. Jiiva is shooting for Mugamoodi and Neethane En Ponvasantham. He will next work in 'Endrendrum Punnagai' where he pairs opposite Trisha. Wait for an official announcement to know who will finally bag the project.

Reema back to action

Reema Sen is set to don the greasepaint again after her marriage. She has started shooting for the remake of the blockbuster film 'Sattam Oru Irutarai' which is produced by Vijay's 'Ghilli Films'. The hot actress plays a role of a powerful cop and the shooting is happening in Pondicherry. Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu and Pia Bajpai play the lead roles. The film is directed by Sneha who happens to be the niece of S.A. Chandrashekhar.

Vaaalu will be a Diwali delight!

The teaser and photoshoot of Vaalu starring Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam was shot recently. Editor Suresh who worked on the teaser of Vaaalu has tweeted,"Done with Vaaalu Teaser! Simbu and Santhanam looks super cool! Kalakkals ". Directed by debutant vijay, the film is touted to be a full length comedy. The film is produced by Nic Arts and Thaman scores the music. The film will hit the screens for Diwali much before the release of Vettaimannan which is slated for a Pongal release next year.

Samar team off to Bangkok

Samar team will leave to Bangkok to complete the final schedule of the film which is set to begin tomorrow. Vishal, Trisha, Sunaina, Manoj Bajpai and J.D. Chakravarthy will be part of the final shoot. Vishal had undergone a complete image makeover for his role as a forest trekker which was revealed in the recently released First Look posters. The film is an out and out action entertainer directed by Thiru. Music by Yuvan. The film is set to release in July.

Ek Tha Tiger Trailer

Ek Tha Tiger is an upcoming thriller starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and directed by Kabir Khan of 'Kabul Express' and 'New York' fame. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on a RAW agent Tiger (played by Salman) and his love story. Ever since Salman signed the film, there has been quite a buzz around it.
