Saguni Audio Release postponed
The audio of Saguni which was to be released on May 11 has now been postponed. The next date of launch is yet to be announced. The political thriller starring Karthi, Praneetha and Santhanam has a lot of expectations surrounding it. There seems to be several factors contributing to the delay of Saguni.
The film which was to hit the screens for Tamil New Year has been further delayed. The film industry strike, replacing the villain Salim Ghouse with Prakash Raj and reshooting those portions are also reasons for the film's delay. The film is directed by Shankar Dayal and produced by Dream Warriors. Music by G.V. Prakash.
Fight over Film title
Vetrimaran's production venture film starring Siddharth directed by his associate Manikandan is yet-to-be-titled. The film is produced jointly by Vetrimaran's 'Grass Roots Films' and Dayanidhi Azhagiri's 'Meeka Entertainments'. Vetrimaran had penned the script and dialogues for the film.
The film shooting has kickstarted in Bangalore and the team had planned to name it 'Desiya Nedunchalai' as it is a road story laced with fun and youthful elements. The title has been already registered by Powerstar Dr. Sreenivasan and the makers have requested him to give away the title. However Dr. Sreenivasan is said to have completed the shoot of the film under the registered title and is gearing up for a release and hence is not in a position to oblige. The makers are however in the hunt for a suitable title.

Vishwaroopam
The post production work of Kamal's magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam' is progressing in full swing in Los Angeles. The audio is likely to release in mid June and the film to hit the screens in July. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have scored the music.
Jiiva and Trisha in 'Endrendrum Punnagai'
Jiiva and Trisha pair up for the first time in 'Endrendrum Punnagai' to be directed by Ahamed. Harris Jayaraj has composed 2 songs for the film in Singapore.
MGR shooting kickstarts with a peppy song
The shooting of Madha Gaja Raja (MGR) starring Vishal and Karthika in the lead has started. Sundar C who has wrapped up with 'Kalakalappu' has began shooting with Vishal. He had shot a peppy item song first starring Vishal and Sadha of 'Unnale Unnale' fame. The director is joining hands with Vishal for the first time and had shot the song to establish a zone of comfort with the actor. Vishal plays a triple role and the film is expected to be another laugh riot from the director. The next schedule of the film will be shot with Vishal and Santhanam.
Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu Press Meet
Samantha plays the character 'Nithya Vasudevan' in Neethane En Ponvasanthan opposite Jiiva directed by Gautham Menon. The film is made in Telugu as 'Yeto Vellipoiyindhi Manasu' with Nani as the lead. Ilayaraja scores the music and expectations for the audio is on a high. The film's audio is likely to be released in June.
Gautham Menon along with his Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu team met the press recently to talk about the film. Samantha, Nani, Gautham Menon were present at the meet. Gautham Menon had said that the film has been almost complete except for the songs and few scenes. Samantha had expressed that her character was very close to her heart. Nani talked about working with Gautham Menon and happy about Ilayaraja scoring music for the film. He also talked about how the scenes in the film relate to the byline of the film 'This could be your love story'.
