Vijay as 'Thalaivan'

Vijay has a line up of projects which are all fast paced action entertainers. Vijay - A.L. Vijay project is buzzed to have been titled 'Thalaivan', a title which perfectly fits the mass hero. Director A.L.Vijay who is excited to direct the Ilayathalapathy has come out with a high voltage action script. G.V. Prakash will score the music. 

The project will roll after Vijay completes 'Thuppakki' and Gautham Menon's Yohan. Director A.L. Vijay is currently shooting for Thandavam in London. The shooting has been happening since three weeks despite the rains and cold weather. Major action sequences are being shot and the schedule is expected to be wrapped in mid June. 

A.R. Murugadoss clarifies on the Poster controversy 

The recently released Thuppakki poster with Vijay seen smoking a cigar sparked off controversy. Social activists had raised objections over the smoking poster as violating the law. The director of the film A.R. Murugadoss has clarified that the First Look poster was released only for promotional purpose and no such scene was there in the film. Also he added that there were no smoking scenes and a scene with Vijay smoking was also removed. The makers would ensure that future promotional activities for the film will be devoid of such scenes.

Ticket reservations for Kalakalappu @ Masala Cafe opens today. Directed by Sundar C, the film stars Siva, Vimal, Santhanam, Anjali and Oviya in the lead. Music by Vijay Ebenezer. Worldwide release on May 11.

Kochadaiyaan animation in Kerala

Two schedules of Kochadaiyaan have been wrapped. The first schedule was shot in London and the second schedule in Kerala. The portions involving all the lead actors including Rajinikanth and Deepika is said to have been done. Every detail of the actors' performances having been captured using motion capture technology.

The next step would be create CG characters representing these actors using Visual Effects and bring CG characters to life through animation. The team is planning to carry out the animation and post production work in Kerala which has been equipped with state-of-the-art animation studios.

KSY and Vicky Donor for remake?

Two films KSY and Vicky Donor which proved successful in the South and North respectively are to be remade soon. Siddharth's 'Etaki Entertainment' and Sasikanth's 'YNot Studios' are in talks with Eros International for the remake of KSY in Hindi and Vicky Donor in Tamil / Telugu. Siddhart and Sasikanth had produced KSY in Tamil and Telugu while Eros International had produced Vicky Donor.

Buzz is Siddharth may reprise his role in Hindi KSY. Siddharth has said that nothing has been finalised yet and the details will be announced once the deal is made.

Pawan Kalyan, Shruthi Haasan starrer Gabbar Singh will hit the screens worldwide on May 11. The film is the remake of Bollywood Blockbuster Dabbang which was remade in Tamil as Osthi. The film has got UA certificate.
