While all the recent Tamil movies have followed the same path of Humour or violence or melodrama, Balaji Sakthivel has taken a different path which can be very well called as blue ocean strategy and has completely succeeded in it. The movie is a sincere effort from the director.

Story & Screenplay

It is a simple story, but a complicated one for doing screenplay because first half says a story and the second half says another story, both the stories meet at a point and that’s what the entire movie is all about. Director has done a commendable job in doing a well crafted screenplay which is smooth and as well as retains the suspense, making it as an edge of the seat trailer. The way story unfolds clearly indicates that Balaji has mastered the art of screenplay.

CAST & CREW

Another laudable thing in the movie is the artists' selection and their performances. Tremendous efforts must have been taken to train and make them deliver such an awesome performance. Everyone looks very realistic and gels with the movie well. Milton’s camera captures the realistic surroundings in a beautiful way. The background music is apt. It is very new to hear a song without background music.

The movie also leaves some lessons to take home. Our society’s view on downtrodden, the way the people at the lower strata of society are suppressed and denied justice, the dangerous side of technology and the dangers surrounding the teenage girls.

The movie has got a poignant love, engrossing screenplay, well written characters, amazing performance, hard-hitting realism and most importantly some messages to take home. It is definitely one of the well made movies in the recent times.

Final Word

Just spend your 2 hours in watching a classic movie.
