Vishwaroopam special screening for Hollywood Producer

Kamal Haasan's magnum opus 'Vishwaroop' will have a special screening for popular Hollywood producer Barrie M. Osborne who produced films like The Lord Of The Rings, Matrix and Face/Off. The film surrounding a global theme 'Terrrorism' and its efforts to usher in peace in the world has created a lot of buzz and seemed to have caught the attention of Hollywood makers as well.

Vishwaroopam is a bilingual shot in Tamil and Hindi and the Hindi version 'Vishwaroop' is to be screened for the producer in Los Angeles. The major portions of the film and post production work of the film is said to have been done in LA. Hollywood's top makeup artist and Kamal's good friend Michael Westmore will also be present for the screening. Kamal has left to Los Angeles for the screening and to complete the post production work as well. 

The veteran actor has also planned a sequel for the film. He had reportedly shot some sequences required for the sequel. Few important action sequences which are core to the sequel have been done which accounts to almost 15% of the next part of the film. The actor will start working on the remaining 85% of the sequel once 'Vishwaroopam' gets released.

Vimal's 'Ishtam' this summer

Vimal and Nisha Agarwal play the lead in 'Ishtam' directed by Prem Nissar. The film is a remake of Telugu hit film 'Yemaindi Ee Vela'. The film has got an A certificate and is to hit the screens on May 25. The film is a romantic entertainer and showcases Vimal in an entirely new makeover unlike his earlier films. Vimal who was seen playing roles of a village youth is playing a sophisticated city guy. 

Nishal Agarwal who played the lead role in the Telugu version is making her debut in Tamil with this film. Nisha Agarwal is the younger sister of the happening actress Kajal Agarwal. She has pinned her hopes on this flick to see her way forward in K-Town. Santham takes care of the humour quotient. The film is produced by Balaji Real Media and music by Thaman.

Sony grabs 'Samar' audio rights

Sony has acquired the audio rights of Samar starring Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina. The film is directed by Thiru and is slated for a release in July. Vishal plays the role of a forest trekker. Important action sequences in the film were shot in Thailand and the team will go to Malayasia for song shoot. Two songs are to be shot in Virgin Island in Malaysia. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Kazhugu director's next film 'Andi Mazhai Megam'

Director Sathya Siva who made a notable debut with a different storyline in Kazhugu is ready to begin his next film. The actor who touched upon the lives of people who recover dead bodies from sucide points is basing his next film on the life of construction workers. The film titled 'Andhi Mazhai Megam' will revolve around the people who are involved in the construction a big mall. The cast and crew is yet to be finalised and the shooting will take place in Rameswaram.
