Trisha beats Nayanthara!

The svelte beauty Trisha beats Nayanthara to be Jayam Ravi's heroine in Boologam. Jayam Ravi's upcoming film 'Aadhi Bhagavan' directed by Ameer has been in production for a long time and the actor was unable to act in other films due to his makeover in the film. The shooting of Aadhi Bhagavan is almost in the verge of completion and Jayam Ravi is all excited to move on to his next project 'Boologam' to be produced by Aascar Films. The film is to be directed by Kalyanakrishnan. 

Nayanthara was buzzed to play the lead and the production house was also very keen in casting her. According to sources, Nayanthara had demanded a big amount for the role and also had many conditions on working in the film. The makers have changed their decision to cast Trisha instead for the role. The film will go on floors from May 20.

Lawrence to finalise 'Muni 3'

Lawrence is working on the script begin his next series of 'Muni'. His earlier flicks 'Muni' and 'Kanchana' have been commercially successful films. The actor cum director has come out with two story lines for the sequel and is expected to finalise a script soon. He is currently directing a Telugu film 'Rebel' starring Prabhas and Tammanah which is to be wrapped soon. The shooting of 'Muni 3' is likely to begin in June. 

Alex Pandian 'hot' song shoot

Karthi is shooting for his next film 'Alex Pandian' directed by Suraaj. A song sequence is currently being shot despite the summer's gruelling heat. Karthi and the leading lady Anuskha are shaking their legs for a song shot on the roads of Chennai. 

Karthi's political thriller 'Saguni' has been wrapped and expected to release in June. The audio is to be released on May 11. The film is directed by Shankar Dayal and music by G.V. Prakash.
