Vishal replaces Arya
Vishal will play the lead in a new film to be directed by Saravanan of 'Engeyum Eppothum' fame. Arya was to play the lead in the film earlier but the actor had opted out of the film for unknown reasons. The film is to be produced by Lingusamy's production house 'Thirupathi Brothers'.
The director was critically acclaimed for his debut film with a social subject. The director seems to have readied the script for his next, which would be an action film totally contrast to his first film. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Vishal is currently shooting for Samar and is next to join with Sundar C for 'Madha Gaja Raja'.

Anirudh's next?
The young music composer Anirudh who shot to fame with his Kolaveri number created a sensation in music in his debut film '3'. The young talent is next to work on Bejoy Nambiar's david which is trilingual flick in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Vikram, Tabu, Isha Sharvani, play the lead. Jiiva has been roped in for a pivotal role for the Tamil and Telugu versions.The film is a gangster flick with dark humour. Anirudh is yet to sign the project but is said to have begun work on the compositions for the film. Anirudh is likely to sign for a Tamil film soon.
Winners of Norway Film Festival
The Norway Film Festival was held in Oslo recently and 15 Tamil films were selected for the 2012 Edition. The awards for the various categories have been announced.

Vijay to dance with Akshay Kumar!!!
Ilayathalapathy Vijay is to storm the Bollywood audience with his dance. Vijay who is known for his dancing skills and one of the best dancers in K-Town is buzzed to shake his leg with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar in his upcoming film 'Rowdy Rathore' directed by Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva had expressed his desire to Vijay about him dancing with Akshay and the actor had immediately given a nod. The song featuring the duo is to be shot soon.
Kareena Kapoor has also shot a song sequence in Rowdy Rathore. Rowdy Rathore starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha is the Hindi version of the superhit film 'Siruthai'. The film has huge expectations surrounding it and is one of the highly anticipated films in Bollywood. The film will hit the screens on June 1.
