Vikram's Karikalan on Freeze mode?

Vikram's Karikalan on Freeze mode?

Vikram is currently in London shooting for 'Thandavam' directed by A.L. Vijay. The action entertainer is being shot in a fast phase and the shooting is expected to be wrapped in mid June. Vikram has also completed shooting major portions of Bejoy Nambiar's 'David' which is a trilingual in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. After finishing Thandavam, Vikram is believed to complete 'David'. On the other hand, the actor is widely buzzed to play the lead in Shankar's next film. 

Vikram being busy with all these projects, the big question is whether Vikram's magnum opus flick 'Karikalan' has been shelved. The director of the film has confirmed that the film has not been dropped and the shooting will resume in June. Zarine Khan plays the female lead. Vikram who sports a slim and trim look in Thandavam needs to have a hefty phsyique for this film.

Kolaveri bags 2 prestigious Awards

Dhanush's Kolaveri number from '3' that stormed the world has bagged two prestigious honours at Creative Abbys Awards in 'The Goafest 2012'. The 'Kolaveri' song that went viral on Internet was awarded Gold in the Direct category and Silver in the Digital and Interactive category. The song was written and sung by Dhanush, while it was composed by Anirudh. 

Sony Music, which is extremely happy about the success of the song said, "Kolaveri Di has set a new example worldwide and we are extremely thrilled about these awards as this is just the beginning. We are sure the success of this song will definitely be written in golden words in the history of music industry".

Krishna's next?

Actor Krishna who had been appreciated for his role in Kazhugu is next set to work with director Rajmohan of 'Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum' fame. The film which is a light entertainer will be completely different from his earlier films. 

The film is about the story of two brothers and the hunt is on for the brother role. The leading lady for the film is also to be finalised. The film shooting is expected to begin by the end of May and the shooting will be in and around Coimbatore.

Jayam Ravi to romance Amala Paul?

Jayam Ravi is shooting for Aadhi Bhagavan in Goa and the film is expected to be wrapped with this schedule. The actor will then shoot for Boologam to be produced by Aascar Films. Nayanthara is touted to play the lead. However an official confirmation is awaited.

The latest buzz is Jayam Ravi has been roped in for a project to be directed by Samuthirakani and to be produced by K. S. Sreenivasan who gave hit films like Naan Kadavul and Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Amala Paul has been signed to play the lead role in this bilingual flick to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Amala Paul who was last seen in Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi has not signed any Tamil film so far. The actress has been offered a huge amount to play the lead in the film.
