Karthi and Kajal Agarwal to pair again?

Kajal Agarwal who is quite busy shuttling between Kollywood, Tollywood and Bollywood has been approached to pair opposite Karthi for 'All in All Azhaghu Raja' to be directed by Rajesh. Kajal who is currently shooting for Maatraan and Thuppakki in Tamil is yet to give a nod. Karthi and Kajal had earlier paired up in 'Naan Mahan Alla'.

The film is to go on floors after the completion of Karthi's 'Alex Pandian'. Director Rajesh who is happy about the response for 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' will next begin work for this film. The film is also touted to be a romantic comedy. Studio Green will produce this film.

Thaman starts Simbu's 'Vaallu'

Simbu has signed a new project 'Vaallu' produced by Nic Arts to be directed by debutant Vijay. Thaman who will score the music for the film has started with the music compositions for the film. This is the second film Thaman is teaming up with Simbu after Osthi. The film is to hit the screens for Diwali.

Simbu is currently shooting for Vettaimannan. He will be leaving to Hong Kong shortly to complete Poda Podi opposite Varalakshmi which has been in production for a long time.

Katy Perry to rock in Tamil?

Katy Perry the American popstar who performed live at the IPL opening ceremony in Chennai has been approached for a peppy dance number in the movie 'Karuppampatti' directed by Prabhu Raja Chozhan. This marks his debut film and he was formerly an assistant to director Shankar.

The peppy song has been sung by popular music composer Bappi Lahari and the music has been composed by Kannan of Tamil Padam fame. The director feels Katy Perry would be the apt choice for this highly energetic number which is to be shot as a stage song among thousands of live audience. The director is hoping for a positive response from the pop star.

Manam Kothi Paravai Trailer

Manam Kothi Paravai is Siva Karthikeyan's next film as hero after Marina. Aathmiya plays the female lead and the film is directed by Ezhil. The film is a romantic comedy interlaced with high dose of humour. The audio of Manam Kothi Paravai was launched recently. Music has been scored by Imman. The other cast in the film include Singampuli, Suri, Chams, Srinath, Kishore, Ilavaarsu and Ravi Maria.
