Jiiva joins Vikram in David!

Jiiva has confirmed that he has signed up for Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming trilingual flick 'David'. Vikram plays the lead in all the three versions Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Jiiva will be playing the lead in Tamil and Telugu versions along with Vikram. Tabu and Isha Sharvani play the female leads. The film is a gangster flick with dark humour. The film is reported to have 3 male leads who will all be called by the name 'David'. 

Jiiva is all excited to do another multi starrer film after Nanban. About his role, the actor tweeted, "Just went through the draft. Excited about my role. Will be kind of different". Jiiva is currently busy shooting for his superhero flick 'Mugamoodi' with Mysskin.

Thuppakki update

Harris Jayaraj is currently composing music for Thuppaki and song composition is progressing at a brisk pace. The film has five tracks. Theme music of the film likely to be composed before the third schedule, which is to begin from April 12 at Mumbai. First Look of the film which is to be released on April 13 is said to have been done and the outcome has turned out to be impressive.

Vazakku En 18/ 9 directed by Balaji Sakhtivel of Kadhal and Kalloori fame produced by Lingusamy's 'Thiruppathi Brothers' production house is set to be released on April 27. The film is about four youngsters and has a climax which is inspired by a real life incident that happened in Bihar. Mithun Murali, Shri, Urmi Mahantha and Manisha Yadav play the lead roles and all of them happen to be new faces. The director is confident about his script and is all set to strike again like his previous films Kadhal and Kalloori. Music by Prasanna and cinematography by Vijay Milton.

Dhanush who gained immense popularity after his rocking 'Kolaveri' number is on the cover of the People Magazine. The actor had launched the April issue of the magazine at Landmark in Chennai. The star had given an exclusive interview to the magazine about his personal and professional life.

Dhanush is set to begin the work of his next film with director Bharath Bala to be produced by Aascar Films. His Bollywood debut film 'Raanjhnaa' directed by Anand L Rai oppposite Sonam Kapoor is also under progress.
