Kamal plays the role of an Army general in his magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam'. The film is touted to be a war film. Rahul Bose who plays the 'baddie' in the film will be playing the role of a terrorist. The post production work of Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam' is progressing in brisk pace. The film is expected to hit the screens in July.

News is Gauthami who had bid adieu to films long back is the official costume designer for Vishwaroopam. She had put in a lot of effort to bring 100% authenticity for the costumes required in the film. The film apparently had characters from four continents which turned out to be challenging task for her.

Ileana bags Amala Paul's role?

Ileana who has made her Bollywood debut in Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra has been offered a role in the Hindi remake of Vettai. The actress is to reprise the role played by Amala Paul. Shahid Kapoor to play the role essayed by Arya. Earlier grapevine was abuzz that Amala Paul would play her role in Hindi as well. According to sources, talks are on with Ileana to bring her aboard. The actress who is currently shooting in Bangkok for a Telugu film is likely to consider the offer and sign the dotted line once she returns.

Ali Zafar who did Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Tere Bin Laden is said to do the role of Madhavan. Lingusamy plans to begin the shooting for the film in May at Ramoji Fim City in Hyderabad.

Amala Paul pairs with Mohanlal

The hot and happening actress Amala Paul has signed a new film titled 'Run Baby Run' opposite Mohanlal. The actress seems to be excited to work with one of the top stars of Mollywood. The film is about two journalists and has lot of scope for her to perform. The shooting of the film is to begin from April 20 in Kochi.

Vikram's high action entertainer 'Thandavam' which was to hit the screens in July has been postponed to September. The audio of the film is to be launched in July. 50% of the film shoot has been wrapped in Delhi and Chennai and the team is leaving to UK for a 2 month shoot. The team had earlier planned to shoot the film in US and the director had also scouted for locations there. The location has now been changed to UK due to delay in acquiring visa for the entire team. 

The shooting will being from 16 April and is said to continue till mid June. Jagapathi Babu, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Santhanam play important roles. The film is directed by AL Vijay. Music by G.V. Prakash and cinematography by Nirav Shah.
