Salman Khan attends first press conference in Kashmir for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan after the hit and run verdict. The actor returned to Kashmir after the verdict to complete the shooting of the film.

 

During the press conference in Srinagar on May 17, Salman Khan shared his experience and his love for Kashmir. Salman said that he is in love with Kashmir as it is a very beautiful and well-mannered place. He also requested everyone to visit Kashmir often. Calling Kashmir as ‘Jannat’Salman Khan also stated during the press meet that he hasn’t got chance to learn Kashmiri language, but he would love to learn once he is expert in Hindi and English.

 

Salman Khan wanted to come to Kashmir during Dabangg shooting but couldn’t. He said that it’s very silly to not promote and shoot in Kashmir than going internationally.

 

When asked to speak something for his fans and supporters during his bad times, Salman Khan gave a wonderful message for his fans. He said I owe and appreciate for being with me in my tough times. He thanked his fans for all the prayers saying, “that don’t know if I deserved them.”

 

Not choosing to comment on Kashmir politics, Salman Khan said that actors could comment on it when they are in that position to do so.

 

Talking about his role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dabangg Khan said that he is trying to do films that are larger than life and from which he can learn.

 

He also expressed his wish to open cinema theaters in Kashmir. He said people here buy pirated copies to watch films instead theaters should be opened. He would also love to premiere Bajrangi Bhaijaan there if theatres are reopened.

 

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an upcoming film directed by Kabir Khan. It features Salman Khan,Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, and deals with a romantic relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman. The film is scheduled for release on 17 July 2015.
