The most eagerly awaited Vijay's 'Thuppaki' is expected to be released on 15th August. Thuppaki upcoming action flick of Vijay directed by A.R. Murugadoss is currently being shot in Mumbai. The second schedule is being shot in a brisk pace and is expected to be wrapped by 3rd April. The team which had left to Bangkok to shoot to an energetic and lively peppy number sung by Vijay has resumed its shooting in Mumbai after completing the song. A high voltage action scene is said to have been shot in Mumbai.

Vijay will sport a new stylish look for the film and his new makeover is expected to be revealed in the First Look poster which is buzzed to be released on 13th April. Kajal Agarwal plays the lead. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina play the lead roles in Samaran directed by Thiru of 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai' fame. Trisha plays the role of an Indian girl who works in a foreign country. The film is about friends who turn lovers. The director is said to have handled the screenplay differently for this usual love story. Trisha will dub on her own voice for Samaran.

Some important portions of the film was recently shot in Ooty and the team is set to shoot some songs and action sequences in foreign locations.  Music by Yuvan. Yuvan had recently composed two rocking tunes for the film.
