A.R. Rahman and Aascar films cut a '3' deal

A.R. Rahman and Aascar films cut a '3' deal

Aascar Films which is known for producing grand scale films is said to have tied up with Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman for the big projects from the production house. If sources are to be believed A.R. Raham will score the music for '3' biggies, one directed by Sankar, Dhanush's film with Bharath Bala and the International project with Jackie Chan.

Aascar films has a big line up of projects this year. Other than the '3' biggies, they will be producing 2 medium budget movies, one with Jayam Ravi and another with Nakul. A. R. Rahman is currently working on Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' and Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' in Tamil.

Nayan kickstarts her second innings

Nayanthara, the svelte actress who rocked the Tamil and Telugu film industry has started shooting for a Telugu film after a long break. Rana Daggubati plays the lead in the film titled 'Krishnam Vande Jagathguru' directed by Krish of 'Vaanam' fame. The film shooting began on Wednesday and the actress is all excited to be back in action. She plays a role of a journalist in the film.

Nayan has also signed a film with Nagarjuna and a Tamil film with Gopichand of 'Jayam' fame to be directed by Boopathi Pandian. The actress is buzzed to be part of Ajith-Vishnuvardhan's next project though there hasn't been any official confirmation yet.

Irandam Ulagam is a bilingual film

 Selvaraghavan is busy shooting for 'Irandam Ulagam' starring Arya and Anuskha. The shooting is currently progressing in full swing at BITS Pilani campus in Goa. The director is thrilled at the way the film is shaping up and has said that the film will be a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. The film has been titled 'Brindavanomlo Nandakumaradu'. The film is also to be shot in Brazil. Sivakarthikeyan, Y. Gee Mahendra and Raadhika Sarathkumar have been roped in play pivotal roles. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Venam Machan Venam song teaser

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi starring Udaynidhi Stalin, Hansika and Santhanam directed by Rajesh is set to hit the screens on April 13. Harris Jayaraj is currently working on the background score of the film.
