Sonam Kapoor to romance Fawad Khan in Battle for Bittora

Fawad Khan in Battle of Bittora The Khoobsurat pair Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan are set to team up again for a new movie titled Battle for Bittora to be directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film will be produced by Rhea Kapoor and will go on floors in June.

Earlier there were reports that the film has been shelved as Sashanka Ghosh who had earlier directed Khoobsurat couldn’t lock down the script. According to report in Mumbai Mirror, the film’s script has been locked and the project is very much on.

Battle for Bittora is touted to be a 'political drama with a romantic spin'. It showcases an interesting conflict between two diametrically opposite characters." The film is an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's bestseller, ‘Battle for Bittora’.

Sonam Kapoor is currently shooting for Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and Neerja Bhanot biopic. Fawad Khan on the other hand will start shooting for Shakun Bhatra’s “Kapoor and Sons” soon.
