The most anticipated Ajith's 'Billa 2' is expected to be released at the end of May. The latest buzz is the film clearing the Censor board with a clean 'U' certificate. According to sources, the film being a gangster thriller with violent scenes and stunt sequences has more probabilities of getting an 'A' certificate. In case of Billa 2 getting an 'A' certificate, the film cannot avail the 30% Entertainment tax waiver, which is strictly only for movies with 'U' certificate. The team is working hard to release the film as early as possible in May. 

The producer of the film has announced, "Billa 2 new campaign coming up this week. Some new announcements next week on important dates for Billa 2". Based on his announcement we can expect the dates of audio release and the film release. Chakri Toleti has directed this film and music by Yuvan. 

Gautham Menon and Ilayaraja are currently recording the songs of 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' starring Jiiva and Samantha in London. The director is all praise about the Music maestro and excited about the songs shaping up really well under his composition. Ilayaraja sir is working with the musicians from Budapest for the recording. He mentions that a choir song sung by a group of children will remind us of our childhood, school, college and everything from the past. The combination of Gautham and Ilayaraja has raised more expectations on the film's audio.
