'3' gets wrapped

'3' gets wrapped

The most awaited film '3' starring Dhanush and Shruthi Haasan directed by Aishwariya Dhanush is set to release in Tamil and Telugu on March 30. Oscar Award winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty who was working on the final mix of '3' is said to have completed the Tamil version of 3 and is moving on to the Telugu version. While mentioning about the sound of '3' he tweets, "It's fun, lovely, nostalgic, at times as if thick oil is poured into your ears!". The '3' team is set on a promotional tour for the film which has expectations from all over the nation. 

Dhanush's 'Switch Off' campaign for 'Earth Hour'

Dhanush is set on a global mission campaigning for Earth Hour to create awareness among individuals, organisations, institutions and groups towards the need to take action on climate change, thanks to global warming. Dhanush has joined hands with WWF-India to support the big 'switch off' campaign. Sachin Tendulkar, the master blaster, is the Earth Ambassador for India. Sachin and Dhanush will stress the need to turn off lights for Earth Hour to conserve energy. This year Earth Hour will be observed on 31st March 2012.

Vijay is currently in Bangkok shooting for the peppy party number called 'VJ on the Floor' sung by him. A stylish Vijay is said to have rocked the floor with his energetic and lively dance movements. A. R. Murugadoss says that it has been a 'Fantastic shoot' in Bangkok. 

Vada Chennai - Who's the Hero?

'Vada Chennai' is a film to be produced by Cloud Nine Movies and directed by Vetrimaran. The film had been in news for various reasons right from its announcement. Latest is that the film will have two heroes. One of the hero would be the main lead and the second one would be doing a cameo says producer Dayanidhi Alagiri. He also adds that the cast and crew of the film is yet to be finalized and the film being a big one, efforts are taken to cast the right actors for the right roles.

Earlier the film was to begin with Simbu, Andrea, Divya Spandana @ Ramya and Rana Daggubati playing lead roles. Rana Daggubati had opted out due to unavailability of dates. The film couldn't kickstart as the leading hero Simbu had gone for the recording of his musical venture 'Love Anthem'. Grapevine was abuzz that Simbu was likely to be replaced with Jiiva. With the cast being finalized afresh will the film have the earlier star cast or will it be an entirely new star cast? An official announcement which is to be made soon will clear the air over the various speculations that has been going on for a while.

The opening ceremony of IPL Season 5 is turning hotter with popular celebrities like Prabhu Deva, Kareena, Priyanka Chopra, Salman, Amitabh already ready to rock the show. Katty Perry will set the stage ablaze with her rocking performance. The singer had tweeted, "Put on your dancing shoes. I'm all set to bring it @IPL Opening Night".
