Kolaveri promotions for 3 in Telugu

3 team is aggressively promoting the movie as this will be the major launch of Dhanush in Telugu. Telugu media were bowled over by Dhanush's simplicity and humility as he was dressed in a simple shirt, jeans and wore chappals and tied a blue head scarf. Dhanush passed the credit for Kolaveri's monstrous success to the music director Anirudh and wife Aishwarya. The audience were totally impressed when he said that he became an actor by accident and he is being given undue credit.

Shruti Haasan who was also in Hyderabad during the promotional tour talked about how she discovered herself through the character that she portrays in the movie. Unlike Tamil media, the reporters directly posed the question about alleged link-ups between Shruti and Dhanush. Both denied them as just rumors.
