'3' Release date confirmed

'3' Release date confirmed

The release date of the most awaited film '3' has been announced and finally the wait is over. '3' having created so much hype and anticipation post Kolaveri success will hit the screens on March 30. Dhanush and Shruthi play the lead roles. The film is directed by Aishwariya Dhanush and music by Anirudh.

Promotions for the film are to begin in full swing with just 10 days left for its release. 

The Telugu Audio Launch of the film is happening today in Hyderabad. 

The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu first and the Hindi release will follow shortly.

The movie is the first biggie to be released for Summer. 

Will the release date 30/3 being synonymous with the film title turn out lucky for the film?

Vikram Prabhu and Pia in Vijay's production venture?

Vijay's production house 'Ghilli Films' is set to produce its first film which would be a remake of S.A. Chandrasekar's hit film 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' which was released in 1981 starring Vijayakanth. Vikram Prabhu, son of Prabhu who is making his debut in 'Kumki' directed by Prabhu Solomon is said to play the lead in this film. Pia Bajpai who has been busy in Mollywood is to be roped in as the female lead. Meena is buzzed to have been offered an important role. The film is to be directed by debutant Ramesh. An official confirmation is awaited from the production house.

Dhayanidhi and Vetrimaran join hands!!

Dayanidhi's 'Cloud Nine Movies' and Vetrimaran's new production company 'Grass Root Productions' are jointly to produce a new project starring Siddharth as the lead. A new face Arshita will play the female lead. The film is to be directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Mani. The yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors from the 1st week of April. 

G.V. Prakash to score the music for the film. The film is said to have 6 tracks out of which 2 of them have been composed. Siddharth who has gained popularity after the success of KSY in Tamil is looking forward to work in this project.

Gautham Menon is currently busy with his trilingual project 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'. Dubbing for the film is in progress. Ilayaraja is composing music for his film for the first time and the director is thrilled to have the maestro on board. The recording of the songs is currently happening in London. 

Gautham is known for his songs and has delivered several memorable tracks in Tamil cinema. This new combination of Gautham and Ilayaraja is expected to weave some musical magic in the film.
