'U' certificate for '3' and 'OKOK'

'U' certificate for '3' and 'OKOK'

The eagerly awaited Dhanush's '3' film has cleared the censor with a 'U' certificate. The release date of the film to be announced soon which is likely to be around end of March or first week of April. The film is getting released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Telugu and Hindi dubbing of the film in currently in progress. The song recording for both the languages is done and the audio release is expected soon. '3' stars Dhanush and Shruthi Hassan playing the lead roles and directed by Aishwariya Rajinikanth. Music by Anirudh. 

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi starring Udayanidhi Stalin, Hansika and Santhanam directed by Rajesh has been given a 'U' certificate. The film is expected to be released by the end of this month. The third film of Rajesh after 'Siva Manasula Sakthi' and 'Boss Engira Baskaran' has much anticipations, owing to the success of his previous laughbuster films. Udayanidhi Stalin debuts as actor in this film. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

It's Sonam for Dhanush!!!

Sonam Kapoor has finally been confirmed to play the female lead opposite Dhanush in his Bollywood debut flick 'Raanjhnaa' to be directed by Anand L Rai of 'Tanu weds Manu' fame. Sonam who had been constantly denying offers from South has finally given a nod to co-star with Dhanush. The film is to be shot around Varnasi. Dhanush plays as the local resident of Varnasi while Sonam is a college student. Dhanush is working hard to learn the language. 

'Kochadaiyaan' will be Diwali dhamaka

Rajini who spoke to the media before he flew to London for the shooting of Kochadaiyaan had said that Kochadaiyaan will hit the screens this year and more likely to be a Diwali release. The film will be a grandeur and will showcase an energetic and youthful Rajini.

Almost 40% of the talkie portion and a song is to be shot there. The rest of the filming will happen in India. The Kochadaiyaan team has left to London for a 20 days shoot. Soundarya Rajinikanth directs this film. Music by A.R. Rahman.

Rana not shelved?

Buzz is that Rana which could not take off due to Rajini's health factor last year is likely to resume after the completion of Kochadaiyaan. Deepika Padukone was to play the female lead of Rajini. K.S. Ravikumar to direct the film after Kochadaiyaan.

Prabhu Deva to perform @ IPL5

Prabhu Deva to perform @ IPL5

Prabhu Deva, the dancing rockstar, is to perform live at the opening ceremony of IPL (Season 5) to be held in Chennai on April 3. This is the first time Prabhu Deva will be performing live for IPL 2012. He will shake his legs for a medley of hit songs chosen from both Tamil and Hindi. The actor has confirmed his performance at IPL, but has said that he is yet to finalize the songs. His performance will be in the final segment of the ceremony.

Bollywood's heartthrob Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra to dance along with Prabhu Deva in the show. Bollywood Superstar Amitabh would also be a part of this IPL ceremony though the details of the same have not been revealed. The whole event would be a star studded affair.
