Alia wraps up first schedule of Udta Punjab

Udta Punjab starring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles went on floors recently in Amritsar.  The film also marks the debut of popular Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh. Udta Punjab is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Films. Udta Punjab looks at the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab. 

Alia wraps up first schedule of Udta Punjab. The actress recently took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a tweet about how she is excited to be back home after wrapping the first shooting schedule of the film.

And the first sched for #UdtaPunjab ends for me !!! Apologies for going MIA.. But had to had to focus ;) and now I'm backkkkk ;) sweet home
