Vijay's 'Thuppaki' shooting is fast progressing in Mumbai. Vijay during the shooting has turned a cameraman for a scene involving crowd. He had handled the camera for not less than a minute under the supervision of 'Ace' cinematographer Santhosh Sivan. He had shot the crowd scene at Bhandra where the film shoot is currently progressing. The scene is said to have come out well and likely to be included in the film. A. R. Murugadoss weilds the megahpone. Kajal plays the female lead. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Thuppaki in 'Hindi'

The film being in production, news doing the rounds that the film is likely to be remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar as the lead. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.

Ajith's 'Billa 2' is the prequel to 'Billa' which traces the journey of David who turns Billa. Lots of speculations seem to surround the character of David portrayed by Ajith in Billa 2. David is reported be a Sri Lankan Tamil refugee who lands in Thoothukudi. Few sources claim that David is not a refugee but a Tamilian who was born in Sri Lanka. Whatever be the case the expectations for the movie is keep stirring up day by day.

The film is directed by Chakri Toleti and music by Yuvan. Parvathi Omnakuttan and Bruna Abdullah play the lead roles. The film is expected to hit the screens in the second half of May.
