Ajith's 'Billa 2' the most awaited movie was expected to hit the screens on May 1 is now being delayed further. The producer has announced that the movie is likely to be released in the second half of May which will be around the 3rd or 4th week of May. The reasons cited for delay is the new rules and regulations set in by the Producers Council and the release date have to be fixed after consulting the Council.

The audio release is likely to happen between April 15-25. Sony has acquired the audio rights of the film. The date and venue of the Audio release is yet to be finalized. The trailer of the film is to be released between April 12-14. The further delay in the film release seems to have upset Ajith fans who have been eagerly waiting to see 'Thala' in action.

The pending Title song in the film is said to have been shot. Parvathy Omnakuttan and Bruna Abdullah play the female leads. Music by Yuvan.

Dhanush is next buzzed to be roped in a project to be directed by Bharath Bala. A. R. Rahman to do the music score for the film. This will be the first project where A.R. Rahman will be composing music for a Dhanush film. Bharath Bala had earlier planned to start the project long ago with Kamal Haasan but the project didn't commence due to Kamal's busy schedules.

The director as now zeroed in Dhanush for the film. The film is likely to be made in Tamil and Hindi as well. Bharath Bala and A.R. Rahman have worked together in many projects, including the popular music albums 'Vande Mataram and 'Jana Gana Manai by A.R. Rahman.
