Shahid Kapoor starts shooting for Udta Punjab

The shoot of Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Daljeet Dosanjh, has commenced in Punjab and Shahid took to Instagram to share the news and the picture of the clapshot. He had posted, “UDTA PUNJAB takes off. This ones special. Wish us luck guys. It’s a tough tough film. We need your love.”

The film will be a gritty thriller based on drug trafficking in Punjab. Shahid who plays the lead, has expressed his nervousness while prepping for the film last month by saying, ‘Scariest part I have played yet have no clue how I'm going to get it right . Wish me luck guys.’
