'Thuppakki' shooting is currently progressing in Mumbai. A high voltage action scene is reported to have been shot at a hotel in Mumbai. 'Ace' cinematographer Santosh Sivan is canning some dare devil action sequences for the film.

This is the first time that Santosh Sivan and Vijay have teamed up for the film. News doing the rounds is Vijay who was impressed with Santosh Sivan's stunning work has expressed interest in doing a film with the cinematographer. If sources are to be believed, Santhosh Sivan who had previously directed notable films like Ashoka and Urumi is likely to direct Vijay soon.

Vijay who is currently busy with 'Thuppakki' will next work in Gautham Menon's 'Yohan' which is likely to start in July. Vijay may allot dates to Santhosh Sivan after completing these projects. 

Kanchana, a comedy horror film directed by Raghava Lawrence was a commercial success in Tamil as well as in Telugu. The movie was a sequel to his previous venture 'Muni' which was released in 2007. Lakshmi Rai played the female lead and Sarath Kumar as a transgender played a pivotal role in the film. 

It is now said that Lawrence is planning yet another sequel to this film. 'Muni 3' is likely to be started by the actor cum director. The actor is currently directed a Telugu film 'Rebel' starring Prabhas and Tammanah. He is set to work on the sequel after completion of the film. Also the actor is likely to rope his brother in 'Muni 3'.
