The second schedule of 'Thuppaki' which commenced recently in Mumbai is progressing in a fast pace. Some risky action sequences are currently being shot with Vijay by 'Ace' cinematographer Santosh Sivan. The cinematographer is said to have employed some new techniques to capture the action sequences. Vijay had recently crooned his voice for a party number in the film. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Ajith's 'Billa 2' is buzzed to be dubbed in Telugu owing to the popularity of director Chakri Toleti in Tollywood. The film's producers have decided to dub the movie instead of selling the remake rights of the film. The film is set to be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

The promotional activity for the film has started. The new poster released yesterday has already caught up with the fans and expectations for the movie is zooming high. Parvathy Omnakuttan and Bruna Abdullah play the female leads. Music by Yuvan.

Vasantha Balan's biggie 'Aravaan' starring Aadhi, Dhansika will hit the screens tomorrow. The most awaited film is releasing tomorrow in 250 screens in Tamil Nadu running a solo race. Aravaan is a period film dealing with the lives of people who lived 300 years ago. Bharath and Anjali appear in a cameo in the film. Singer Karthik has turned music director for this film.

Ilayaraja and Yuvan sing for Neethane En Ponvasandam

The music recording of Gautham Menon's 'Neethane En Ponvasandam' by Isaignani Ilayraja is progressing fast. Thamarai who is penning the lyrics for the film is joining hands with the maestro for the first time. The film will have songs sung by Ilayaraja, Yuvan and Singer Karthik.

Earlier it was buzzed that Ilayaraja, Yuvan and Karthik Raja have crooned their voices for a song. Director Gautham has clarified that it is singer Karthik and not Karthik Raja who has sung for the film. Gautham Menon who was thrilled with Ilayaraja's voice for a song had tweeted, "Watched spellbound, listened and was lost in happiness as raja sir recorded a song yesterday in his own voice."

Jiiva and Samantha play the lead roles in the film. The film is a trilingual, which is being shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
