Veteran comedian ‘Nagesh’ in Kochadaiyaan

Late comedian actor ‘Nagesh’ will be seen in Rajini’s Kochadaiyaan as an animated character. Superstar wanted to share screen space with the thespian in his upcoming 3D film Kochadaiyaan. The team is working to bring in the character of Nagesh through digital effects. The motion capture technology used in the film will help accomplish this new character to be roped in the film.

Earlier the buzz was Nagesh would be playing a double role in the film. Now the final call is that Nagesh will be seen in a single role but it will be a very significant one in the film. The film is expected to go on floors from March 2nd week in UK. Music by A. R. Rahman.

Anushkha who plays the lead role in Selvaragavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' opposite Arya is buzzed to play a dual role in the film. Anushkha to play the role of a soft housewife and that of a tribal girl in the film. The character of the tribal girl requires Anushka to perform some action oriented sequences for which the actress is getting equipped by learning martial arts.

The movie is touted to be a fantasy entertainer and not a period film as mentioned earlier. There are two parallel stories running around the film which at a point of time unite the lead pair who have been travelling alone in their respective storyline. The lead pair is expected to sport an entirely new look for the film. The first schedule of the movie has been completed in Hyderabad.

Jayam Ravi 'Real Action'

Jayam Ravi is said to have performed risky stunt sequences without using body doubles in his upcoming film 'Aadhi Bhagavan' directed by Ameer. The movie which has been in production for a long time is on the verge of completion. Jayam Ravi plays a double role in the film. The post production work of the film is in progress.

PVP Cinemas tie up with Kamal for 'Vishwaroopam'

Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinemas to produce the big budget film 'Vishwaroopam' jointly with Kamal Haasan's 'Rajkamal International'. Kamal's magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam', a bilingual in Tamil and Hindi is progressing well and the film is slated to be released soon. 

PVP Cinemas first production venture in Kollywood was Vikram's 'Rajapattai'. The production house will be part of four big projects in Kollywood namely Kamal Haasan's 'Viswaroopam', Bala's 'Eriyum Thanal', Selvaraghavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' and SS Rajamouli's 'Naan Ee'. The company plans to produce more quality and meaningful films in Kollywood.
