Ilayathalapathy Vijay has crooned his voice for a song in Thuppakki. The actor has sung a song reportedly after seven years. Harris Jeyaraj the music composer of the film wanted to try Vijay's voice for a party track and the song has come out very well he adds. Vijay had earlier expressed that its been long since he had sung in films and had wanted to do one soon. The actor's wish has been fulfilled by Harris.

The second schedule of Thuppakki has begun in full swing in Mumbai. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead. Ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan is said to have done a exclusive photoshoot of Vijay for Thuppakki. The output seems to be stunning showcasing Vijay in a never seen before look and style!

The song shoot involving Surya and Kajal has been completed and the climax fight scene of the film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The climax which is said to be a mind boggling one is shot using seven imported cameras. The climax is said to have a continuity as it is to be shot in different cities.

The team will also shoot some scenes for the Telugu version of Maatraan. Except for the change of props and background to suit the Telugu audience, there will not be any inclusions of extra scenes for the Telugu version.

Kochadaiyaan 'update'

A.R. Rahman is said to have recorded a song for Kochadaiyaan. Singer Karthik has rendered his voice and veteran lyricist Vaali has penned the lyrics for the song.
