Vishal joins hands with Sundar C

Vishal has signed a film with Sundar C who is currently directing the film 'Masala Cafe'. The duo is set to team up after completing their current projects 'Samaran' and 'Masala Cafe'. Vishal will be playing a triple role in this film for the first time. The film will have one female lead and talks are on with few heroines. The director is in the lookout for someone who appears to be naïve and has a bubbly face, for the female lead. The character is said to be a surprise element in the film. 

Earlier there were speculations that Shruthi Haasan was being considered for the lead which had been denied by the director. Though the director has not revealed the names of the heroines under consideration, buzz is Hansika is most preferred for the role.

Arya and Santhanam team up again!

Arya and Santhanam, the duo who rocked in 'Boss Engira Baskaran' are set to team up again the Tamil remake of Delhi Belly which proved successful in Hindi. Arya is said to have liked the script, but the actor is yet to sign the dotted line. Santhanam too is seemed to be interested in the project. An official confirmation is awaited from UTV which is producing this venture.

Earlier the production house had planned to remake the film in Tamil and Telugu, now it seems like the film will be remade only in Tamil. Director Kannan of 'Kanden Kadhalai' fame is reported to direct this movie.

Thuppaki 'update'

Vijay's 'Thuppaki' film shooting likely to resume from today at Mumbai. The first schedule having been wrapped, the second schedule got delayed due to ongoing strike in film industry. First look to be unveiled soon.

The copyright of 'Kolaveri' and 'Kolaveri di' have been registered by Aishwariya. She also registered 2 film titles 'Why this Kolaveri' and 'Why this Kolaveri di' as she does not prefer any random person to pick on the title, although she has no intentions of making films with these titles.

Vinmeengal Trailer

Vinmeengal is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Vignesh Menon. The movie deals with the journey of a boy suffering from cerebral palsy, right from his birth to adulthood. Rahul Raveendran of 'Moscowin Kavery' fame plays the lead protagonist and Anuja Iyer stars opposite him. Actor-director R Pandiarajan is playing a different role in this film.
