Sandakozhi 2 - The Fight begins!

The sequel to the superhit movie 'Sandakozhi' starring Vishal and Meera Jasmine directed by Lingusamy is likely to be started soon. Vishal and director Lingusamy to team up again for the sequel 'Sandakozhi 2'. The story is touted to be a completely different one from Sandakozhi but certain factors would be retained to bridge a connection between the films. The film would definitely have all the necessary elements that have led to the success of the first film. The female lead, the other cast and crew are yet to be finalized. The film is set to begin soon.

Vishal is currently busy in Samaran which is to be wrapped up by mid March. Trisha plays the female lead. The last schedule of the film is set to be shot in Thailand.

Veteran Actress SN Lakshmi Passes Away

The veteran actress who acted as the grandma of Urvasi in ‘Michael Madhana Kama Rajan,’ the helpful mother-in-law of Kamal Haasan in ‘Mahanadhi’, the old woman in ‘Thevar Magan,’ and countless other memorable movies is no more. S.N.Lakshmi in her 64 year career had acted in 2000 drama plays and 500 movies. S.N.Lakshmi was introduced to cinema in 1948 as one of the dancers in the famous drum sequence in the first ever mega budget movie, Chandralekha.

Billa 2 update

Billa 2 audio is on the final mix stage. The film's title song 'Don Don Don' is said to have been shot completely in Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad. The post production work of the film has begun.

Saguni Release

The most awaited film 'Saguni' starring Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles is expected to hit the screens on April 14. Santhanam plays a pivotal role in the film. The film touted as a political thriller is directed by Shankar Dayal.

Housefull 2 - The Dirty Dozen

Housefull 2 is an upcoming action comedy film which is a sequel to the hit movie Housefull which was released in 2010. The film has a huge star cast. The film is mainly about four girls, their respective father and boyfriends, each of whom is presumably called Jolly. All the confusion starts with the male leads having the same name 'Jolly'.

The star cast includes Akshay Kumar, Asin, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey and others. The film is slated for release on 5th April 2012.
