Mollywood actor Jayaram is buzzed to play a pivotal role in Vijay's 'Thuppakki'. Jayaram is a well known face to the Tamil audience who is seen in Tamil films on and off playing character roles and cameos, has been roped in 'Thuppaki' lately.

The film which has completed his first schedule in Mumbai is expected to begin rolling after the strike gets over. The First Look of the film is also to be released soon. Vijay plays the role of a military officer. Kajal Agarwal plays the lead. Film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The soundtrack will be composed by Harris Jayaraj.

Gautham Menon's 'Ek Deewana Tha' starring Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson is said to be released with two different climax. There will be a popular ending to the film which is touted to be screened in majority of the theatres and a 'Director's cut' which has a different ending to be screened in specific theatres. A film releasing with 2 different climax is touted to be the first of its kind. The theatre listings will highlight whether it’s a popular ending or the director’s cut as well! 

The climax of 'Ek Deewana Tha' is the most expected as the director had recently mentioned it would be a surprise ending in Hindi. Gautham Menon's Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya and Ye Maaya Chesave(Telugu) had completely different endings. In Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, Simbu and Trisha part ways whereas in Ye Maaya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha join hands on a happy note. The film is to hit the screens on February 17.
