Karthi's Alex Pandian

Actor Karthi's next film after Saguni is tentatively titled as Alex Pandian. This title reminds us of Rajinikanth's powerful cop role played by him in the 1982 Super Hit film Moondru Mugam. This title has tremendous brand value since it gave Rajinikanth one of the biggest breaks in the early 80's. Anushka will be doing the female lead and there will be other 3 actresses who are still be confirmed for casting. Karthi's regular Santhanam is approached to lighten up the proceeding.

This film will be directed by Suraaj who had earlier directed films like Thalainagaram, Marudhamalai, Padikaadhavan and recent Dhanush starrer Maapillai. The Music for this film will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. This film will be produced by Gnanavel Raja's Production House Studio Green. The Shoot is expected to commence as soon as Karthi completes Saguni expected to release in Summer.
