Deepika Padukone is the hot actress who will be pairing with the Superstar in 'Kochadaiyaan'. The news has been confirmed by Soundarya Rajinikanth who is directing the film under the supervision of 'ace' director K.S. Ravikumar. Earlier it was buzzed that Katrina Kaif would romance with the Superstar, but the actress who is very busy in Hindi seemed to have missed the opportunity due to unavailability of dates.

It might be recalled it was Deepika Padukone who was earlier signed for the much hyped 'Rana'. The film didn't progress due to the sudden ill health of Rajinikanth and reportedly shelved for now. With the first look poster of Kochadaiyaan already catching the attention the film is getting hotter with Deepika Padukone. A. R. Rahman does the music score. The film is expected to start rolling soon.

Jiiva’s upcoming superhero flick ‘Mugamoodi’ with director Mysskin is progressing well. The film genre is the first of its kind in Tamil cinema. Music director K of ‘Yudham Sei’ fame is said to have composed three songs out of the four tracks in the film. The songs have been composed sans the superhero feel and the highlight would be the theme song which is touted to captivate the listeners.
