The director who strongly believes that the story and the characters are the pillars for the success of a film is all geared to establish the point by making a low cost film within a budget of 1 crore. The movie is touted to be shot within a house. Sasikumar is producer of the film.

'Poda Podi' heroine goes 'Tollywood'

Sarathkumar's daughter Varalakshmi has signed a Telugu film 'Gouravam' starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead and directed by Payanam fame director Radha Mohan. The actress whose debutant movie 'Poda Podi' with Simbu has been prolonged and yet to wrap up, decided to move on with the next project. Gouravam will be produced by Nagarjuna for their home production Annapoorna Studios banner. Thamam does the music score of the film.
