Amitabh, Deepika, Irrfan starrer Piku starts rolling

Shoojit Sircar of 'Madras Cafe' fame has begin the shooting of his next film Piku from today. Shoojit Sircar has pulled off a casting coup by roping in Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

Piku deals with a different take on the relationship of a father and daughter. Amitabh Bachchan will play the father, while Deepika Padukone will be playing his daughter. Irrfan Khan plays a very important role. This will be the first time Deepika and Irrfan will share the screen space.

Piku is slated for release on 30 April 2015. It will be produced by MSM Motion Pictures in association with Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films.
