Karthi has not seen any release since Siruthai because Saguni has taken almost a year in making. Finally, Karthi's Saguni team has wrapped up the shooting and now in post-production. Karthi and Santhanam have come together again for this mass entertainer movie. The movie is being shot as bilingual due to fan base of Karthi in Telugu. In fact, certain scenes in the film have been worked out for the Telugu audience in mind. Saguni will release on the same date in both languages. 

Kamal has been booked by Aascar Ravichandran to do their next project after Kamal completes the shooting of Viswaroopam. It is expected that a popular Hollywood star is expected to join hands with Kamal. There are lot more surprises associated with this project. The details of cast and crew will be announced by Aascar later this year.
