Akshay Kumar's Shaukeen to clash with Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson at the Box Office

Shaukeen is a comedy film directed by Abhishek Sharma starring Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher in the lead roles. The project will be a remake of the 1982 film of the same name directed by Basu Chatterjee, starring Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt, A. K. Hangal, Rati Agnihotri and Mithun Chakraborty. Shaukeen is produced by Ashvini Yardi. The film is set to hit the screens on November 7.

Ajay Devgn's 'Action Jackson' directed by Prabhudeva is also set to hit the screens on November 7. Ajay and Akki have often clashed at the box office and it seems they are ready to battle it out once again their upcoming films Action Jackson and Shaukeen respectively.

Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have come face-to-face at the box office three times. In 2009, Devgn’s All the Best released alongside Akshay’s Blue. In 2010, both of them clashed again twice. First Ajay starrer Golmaal 3 clashed with Akshay’s Action Replayy in November and then in December Toonpur Ka Superhero and Tees Maar Khan released on the same date. 

Ajay Devgn's 'Action Jackson' was earlier slated for release on June 6 along with Akshay Kumar's 'Holiday'. However the film release was later pushed to November 7. Both Ajay and Akshay want to avoid clash at the box office. But it’s not really their choice as the dates are decided by the studios or producers.
