Censor board personnel shortage might delay movie releases  

Tamil Nadu Government has made a new decision recently, that a censor committee member cannot continue to work more than 2 years. A board of  two men and two women under a regional officer forms a censor committee. This new decision forms a difficult situation, as currently there are only two ladies available in the committee and they cannot watch more than one film a day and certify.

There are lot of movies in the pipeline waiting to be censored, that includes Dhanush's Velaiyilla Pattathari, Karthi's Madras and CV Kumar's Sarabham. Will these movies be censored and released as planned? We need to wait and see if any alternate arrangements will be made to resolve the issue.
