Karthik Subbaraj Jigarthanda censored

Jigarthanda starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles has been censored with an U/A certificate. Karthik Subbaraj tweeted, "Jigarthanda is completely ready to be served,with U/A from censor board. Film may release anytime soon. Am now moving on to my next script"

The film release date was initially announced as May 23. Since Kochadaiiyan release has been pushed to May 23, the release is likely to be preponed.  

Jigarthanda is a gangster flick set in the backdrop of Madurai. Bobby Simha and Karunakaran play supporting cast. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. Jigarthanda is produced by Kathiresan. Sun Pictures have acquired the distribution rights .

The expectations are high for Jigarathanda as it is Karthik Subbaraj's next venture after his much talked about film Pizza. The trailer and songs have received good response from the audience.
