AR Rahman Kaaviya Thalaivan audio in June

'Kaaviya Thalaivan' starring Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Nasser and Anaika Soti is directed by Vasantha Balan of 'Angaadi Theru' fame. The film has music by A R Rahman. Sony Music South has bagged the audio rights of the film. The makers are planning to release the audio of the film in June. The audio release date is yet to be announced.

The movie is a period flick set in the 1930s and is about a group of theatre actors. AR Rahman has composed eight songs with several smaller ones, totalling 20. He has used folk music and ragams to bring in the 1930s feel for Kaaviya Thalaivan.

The film shoot is almost complete except for a song. The preparation for the final song shoot is currently in progress.  The film is produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios and Radiance Media.
