The latest buzz in Kollwyood is that Amala Paul is set to tie the knot with director Vijay of Thalaivaa fame. The news spread like fire after an evening newspaper reported that the Mynaa girl is set to tie the knot with Vijay on June 12.

Amala Paul has issued an official press release in this regard. She has said, "I wish to announce to my media friends about my future plans with Dir Vijay once he arrives from his trip abroad Until then I request the media friends to wait for authenticated reports on me and Vijay and about our future plans."

Director Vijay is currently busy with the post production work of Saivam. The post production work is happening at Warner Brothers Studios, Los Angeles.
